I, for one, am so glad to live in America. I love our country. Where else are there the freedoms we enjoy.
I, for one, am so glad to live in America. I love our country. Where else are there the freedoms we enjoy.
If you need further proof of just how heartless and self-centered people from this generation have become, a California family’s story will absolutely break your heart.
Last Saturday, Sgt. John Perry from Northern California was killed in Afghanistan by a suicide bomber. The Soldier was in the middle of running a 5K event for Veteran’s Day, but tragically, never made it to the finish line.
The family of the fallen Soldier was on a flight to bring the body of their dead son home, when people on the flight began to do the unthinkable. Because of the slight delay picking up the body caused, people on the flight began to boo.
“To hear the reaction of the flight being delayed because of a Gold Star family and the first class cabin booing, that was really upsetting, and it made us cry some more,” the father, Stewart Perry tearfully recounted.
The father went on to say that this is yet another incident of military service members facing disrespect, and his son’s underscores why the American flag is so sacred by many, and not a symbol for protest.
“It’s not for protest – it’s for the death of the people who are saving us. That’s what it’s for. “My kid was over there to help put a stop to this garbage, and he died,” he said.
How more vile can people get? Sgt. Perry gave his life to defend your freedom, and all you can do is boo because picking up his dead body caused a little delay in your freaking schedule? People are truly sick.
Just what may we ask has happened to the younger generations in our country. Or perhaps they were not all young, but still show a lack of respect for this soldier who gave his all, his life.
Those who believed they were delayed a bit and “it ruined” their lives for a moment should think about this soldier who probably never complained about how his life was interrupted because he was busy serving our country.
To me this shows how deteriorated our culture has become. Who brought up these spoiled, selfish, vile people?
In an announcement that shreds the left’s recent condemnation of Stephen Bannon as a racist, white nationalist and hater of the Jewish people, Ron Dermer, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, told reporters he not only welcomed the chance to work with Donald Trump, but also with Bannon, the president-elect’s senior adviser.
Bannon’s been slammed by the media as an anti-Semite, despite the fact he’s employed Jewish people, worked in close alliance with Jewish people, and had many notable and influential Jewish people come out in recent days to express both fondness for and alliance with the former Breitbart executive – and to make clear he’s not anti-Semitic.
Dermer, who holds a key diplomatic spot aimed at advancing the ties between America and the Jewish nation of Israel, seemed to suggest similarly, in his remarks at Trump Tower.
As reported by Townhall:
“‘Israel has no doubt that President-Elect Trump is a true friend of Israel,’ he said after meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. ‘We have no doubt that Vice-President-elect Mike Pence is a true friend of Israel, he was one of Israel’s greatest friends in the Congress, one of the most pro-Israel governors in the country, and we look forward to working with the Trump administration, with all of the members of the Trump administration, including Steve Bannon, and making the US-Israel alliance stronger than ever.’”
I guess this ruins the leftist mantra that Steve Bannon is an anti-Semite.
Actually the left is wearing these cards thin to the point they make no sense and we reject them. We are onto the liberal media and all of their lies and smears.
This won’t stop the Clinton News Channel however. But Trump called them all liars and they should be ashamed of themselves yesterday during his meeting with the press bigwigs. Priceless!
Throughout much of his successful campaign for the presidency, President-elect Donald Trump spoke repeatedly about his intentions to roll back, if not entirely undo, many of the business-killing federal regulations put in place by President Barack Obama’s administration.
To that end, the American Action Forum dug into the regulatory nightmare emanating out of Washington, D.C., and compiled a list of dozens of regulations that could be immediately cut by Trump and the Republican-led Congress, according to The Daily Caller.
Utilizing what is known as the Congressional Review Act to invalidate at least 48 major regulations, the AAF report noted that, “Together, those rules impose more than $42.5 billion in total costs, $6.5 billion in annualized costs, and 53 million paperwork burden hours.”
“Republicans have the opportunity to enact regulatory reform on a scale not witnessed since President Reagan,” the report continued. “CRA disapproval resolutions seem poised to be a significant part of those plans.”
“Although it is unlikely that Congress will cash in all its political capital to this end, several high-profile major rules – and their sizable burdens – could go by the wayside in 2017,” the report noted, tempering expectations for a broad sweep of all burdensome regulations right away.
Furthermore, there are other regulations that may not have even been written yet that could be quickly overturned, due to various agencies in the Obama administration rushing to push through new “midnight” regulations at the last moment.
Alas, Obama’s regulators have been quite busy this year, already formulating more than 78,000 pages of new rules thus far in 2016, with an estimated cost of at least $148 billion. The administration sill has a month and a half still remaining to write more.
Analysts and report authors Sam Batkins and Dan Goldbeck provided a few examples of cuts that could immediately be made, such as to the Department of Interior’s restrictions on oil drilling in the Arctic region, or the Environmental Protection Agency‘s ludicrous fuel efficiency standards for the trucking industry.
The Arctic drilling rule has been estimated to cost more than $2 billion, while the EPA’s industry-killing fuel regulation costs soared to an astonishing $29.3 billion.
Nevertheless, we anxiously await Trump and his team to finally taking office and beginning the arduous process of taking a scythe to the field of chaff that has grown up in and around D.C.’s regulatory structure.
Wow, just look at all that money being wasted and a noose around our necks as a country. Business and energy stifled under Obama’s regulatory agencies.
I hope Trump follows through with his promise to get rid of these onerous burdens and allow us to become energy independent and for business to bloom once again providing lots of new jobs.
If you have any doubts about President Barack Obama’s state of delusion just consider his words on Monday at his first press conference since the election. As reported by ZeroHedge: Obama said he doubts President-elect Donald Trump will scrap a deal with Iran to curtail the country’s nuclear weapons aspirations because the agreement is working. When the accord was struck in 2015, “the main argument against it was that Iran wouldn’t abide by the deal,” Obama said Monday at a White House news conference. “We now have over a year of evidence that they have abided by the deal.”
“My suspicion is that when the president-elect comes in and is consulting with his fellow Republicans on the Hill, that they will look at the facts,” Obama said. “To unravel a deal that’s working and preventing Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon would be hard to explain,” particularly if it leaves Iran free to reconstitute its weapons programs, he said.”
And it appears that just yesterday, members of the House of Representatives understood that as well. As reported by the Washington Examiner, The House voted overwhelmingly on Tuesday to extend an Iran sanctions law for another 10 years, amid growing worries that the U.S. needs to keep some leverage over Iran as it pushes for that country to implement the nuclear agreement.
Lawmakers voted 419-1 in favor of extending the Iran Sanctions Act, the foundation of a range of U.S. sanctions against Iran.
The only vote against the bill came from Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky.
The vote is a sign the bill should easily pass the Senate. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said passage shows that Congress is ready to take a tougher stance on Iran than that of President Obama. While Obama has moved to ease sanctions against Iran, Republicans and even some Democrats say the U.S. needs to impose tougher measures to ensure Iran’s compliance.
“The nuclear deal has provided cover for Iran,” he said. “They are exerting more and more control in Iraq, sending arms to rebels in Yemen, and continue to support terrorist groups like Hezbollah that antagonize Israel.”
“All the while, the Obama Administration has refused to hold Iran accountable or even call Iran out for violating the nuclear deal by exceeding limits on heavy water,” he added. “But we cannot let Iran increase its regional influence and undermine American interests unopposed.”
“Congress needs these sanction authorities to respond to Iran’s violations and check Iran’s growing influence in the region,” he said. “Sanctions are what brought Iran to the table, and they can bring Iran to heel again.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) successfully presents itself to the media as a benign civil rights organization, comparable to the NAACP or the ADL, a description that conservatives ineffectively rail against. In this light, perhaps a tweet sent out just after midnight EST on Nov. 9 by Hussam Ayloush, long-time head of CAIR’s Los Angeles office, will help awaken the press to CAIR’s true Islamist identity. Ayloush wrote:
Ok, repeat after me:
Al-Shaab yureed isqat al-nizaam.
(Arab Spring chant)
That second line is Arabic (“الشعب يريد إسقاط النظام”) for “The people wants to bring down the regime.”
In other words, Ayloush unambiguously and directly called for the overthrow of the U.S. government.
Comments: (1) Ayloush may be the most vicious of the CAIR leaders. So far as I know, for example, he’s the only one of them to bandy about the term “Zionazi,” as evidenced in his e-mail below, dated March 18, 2002.
(2) Ayloush is not a marginal figure but someone with access to the heights of American power, including the White House. According to an Investigative Project on Terrorism analysis in 2012, he was a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. [and] … attended at least two White House meetings. The logs show Ayloush met with Paul Monteiro, associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement on July 8, 2011 and Amanda Brown, assistant to the White House director of political affairs Patrick Gaspard, on June 6, 2009. According to reliable sources, Monteiro was White House liaison for secret contacts with CAIR, especially with Ayloush.
Further, “IPT has learned that the White House logs curiously have omitted Ayloush’s three meetings with two other senior White House officials.”
(3) The dawning of Donald Trump’s victory was apparently a trying moment for Ayloush, so he let loose with an emotion he’d normally have kept under wraps. In other words, he offered a rare, candid insight into the mind of one CAIR apparatchik.
(4) According to 18 U.S. Code § 2385, “Advocating overthrow of Government”:
Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States … Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
So, journalists, editors, and producers: do please note what CAIR stands for. (November 11, 2016)
So now we not only have the radical leftists groups protesting and Al Sharpton telling people “we are not done yet” about Trump’s presidency, but we have the vicious CAIR wanting to overthrow our government.
I hope once Trump is the President, this man gets charged for treason.
I’d really like to see CAIR deported from this country. They have done nothing but cause trouble with their ridiculous demands which Obama permits.
But we’re going to have a new sheriff in the White House now. I have never seen such resistance, protests, and railing against a President Elect in my life time.
