Trump/Hillary/Holt Debate

As usual the corrupt media played a hand in last night’s debate. Lester Holt was the third debater.

No wonder Trump got a bit frustrated last night. Holt punched and fact checked Trump while he gave Hillary passes on everything.

Holt was wrong about Stop and Frisk being unconstitutional. Rudy Guiliani spoke to Cavuto last night and explained that situation. It was never ruled unconstitutional.

Fact checking Holt = Lie

Holt never followed up on any questions with Hillary. He let her usual lie about her email problem go by like a sieve. She gave her usual answer, “she apologized and took full responsibility”. And that was about it.

However, Holt pestered Trump about his taxes, the birther issue and Iraq. I say who cares about any of this. What has this got to do with anything we face today? We’ve got big issues on our plates here in this country. Pettiness and frivolous gotcha questions have no room in the debates.

On the birther issue Trump pointed out that Hillary’s campaign started the birther issue. Now wouldn’t you think Holt would have a follow up question for Hillary? But no. He gave her a pass on that one too.

David Stockman, Reagan’s former budget director also appeared on the show with Cavuto after the debate. He said Trump nailed it on all the economic issues. I think that is very high praise coming from a former Reaganite. What more could one ask for?

Hillary looked condescending and arrogant. The smirk just about never came off her face and I would have liked to slap it off of her.

The worst of her statements came near the end when she pulled out her vagina card and accused Trump of being sexist. As a woman I hate seeing this. I cringed. If a woman is strong she never needs to pull that card out. Hillary showed weakness with that maneuver. What is she going to do as president (if she wins) pull that vagina card out with world leaders? Would she come out facing the press when Congress does not pass one of her bills and pull that card out again and again.

I think Trump needs to prepare more for the next debate. While he did  OK, he could have done better. He missed opportunities to knock her flat. I don’t know whether that was because he was afraid to go too rough on her or lack of preparation.

But, I think he won the debate in the eyes of the people. While he made a few mistakes and was not as polished as Clinton, she came across with the same old ideas of the Obama administration of which most people are weary.
DRUDGE POLL** WHO WON THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE?

TRUMP 80.3% (224,351 votes)

CLINTON 19.7% (55,042 votes)

CBS New York
Who won the first debate?

Donald Trump 76%

Hillary Clinton 24%

While these online polls are not the most accurate it does show where the enthusiasm lies and it sure was not with Clinton. Enthusiasm matters in this race because that shows who will actually vote in the election. The enthusiasm for Hillary is so very low.

Today, all you will hear from the liberal media is how well Hillary did last night. But that’s the bubble media we know who are all in the tank for her. The usual bashing of Trump continues.

But, we the little people in fly over country know better. Don’t listen to their lies and exaggerations. The media can sway and spin this debate any way they want, but we, the people decide the votes, not the media. They are now irrelevant. They lie and are part of the Clinton Crime Syndicate who will do or say anything to get her into the White House.

  1. It was easy to see that Holt was hostile to Trump while being nice to Hillary. Did anyone hear ONE single mention of the U.S.Constitution?? I don’t recall it if it was and I watched all of the “debate”.

    • Yeah Bob, when Lester Holt lied about Stop and Frisk being unconstitutional. Other than that no. Last night was all about cracking and pestering Trump about things nobody cares about while giving Hillary the usual liberal media passes.

  2. Hello Pepper, THANK YOU or setting the record straight on the debate. Old hillbuster only needs to look no further than slick willy about being sexist. I feel the more the media screams and favors the left, the stronger Trump becomes

    • Walt, you’re welcome but it’s only my opinion of course.

I agree very much about the more the media tears into Trump, and the more unfair they are to him at debates, the more people want to vote for him.

  3. The comment Trump made at the end of the debate stated his position on slinging mudd…

    At good old Crooked Hillary

He said he could have said things about Hillary and her family (probably Slick Willie) etc but chose not too

He didn’t believe it was the right thing to do

As we all know very very well…there is quite a bit of mudd attached to Crooked Hillary

I took a dozen polls last night on who won the debate and Trump won them all and by a large margin

Don’t let those Hillary idiots trouble you

Keep in mind the Hillary campaign just threw in the White flag of surrender in Ohio

And she is also losing ground in other battle ground states

Do what I just did this morning…

I turned on my local news station to hear that Hillary won the CNN poll 80% to 20% which is not so because I took that poll last night and it’s the other way around

    Solution…shut them off

  4. Yo Pepp……I think our man learned what to expect from the liberal @zzzewholes. Last nite gave him a little taste of what to expect the next time around. He should take off the gloves and slap her silly face.
    Go Donald.

    oohrah!!!!

  5. I was worried. I knew you’d make me feel better. I didn’t know about the CBS poll. I saw Time and CNBC fell to Trump.

    6 more weeks…

    • Aw Jacqui, that’s sweet. I’m glad I made you feel better. Yes there were many polls that fell to Trump. Even though Trump missed some opportunities last night,

I think he came across to the people as a genuine person with good ideas while Hillary was just more of the same old, tired ideas that have failed.

  6. I think that is exactly the case, we know better. Seems Holt never planned on bringing up those critical issues of Hillary. So national security was off the table.

Agreed and believe me Pepper, her arrogance & narcissism was oozing from my television set. Almost turned the debates off!

I wasn’t a bit surprised on how the first debate turned out last night. In fact, I felt it was rather predictable. Safe to say, Lester Holt was totally in the tank for Hillary and was CLEARLY no fan of Trump. Holt should have asked Hillary questions that would have put her on her toes such as:

Clinton Foundation Pay To Play Accusations
    Benghazi
“Basket of Deplorables” Insult Toward Millions of Americans
5 Aides Given Immunity by the FBI or Her Reckless Secret Server

    ……….And a lot more!

I certainly won’t say that Trump is down and out over this first debate though. He still was able to hold his own against harridan Hillary. I’ll definitely give him credit for that. Plus, there are two more debates. I think the Don will still win voters over and spank Hillary in the general election.

    • HHS, I nearly turned my TV off too around 9:45. I could barely stand watching and hearing Hillary.

    • HHS, I was too exhausted to answer you completely yesterday. Sorry about that.

I sure would have liked to see this stuff come up but hopefully Trump can work it in during the next debate.

Right, HHS, he held his own with debating both Hillary and Holt. Very unfair. But he’s strong. He can do it. I give him credit for that too. I too hope he spanks Hillary in the next two debates. He now saw what she and the liberal Holt will do to him and it won’t get any better with Anderson Pooper on CNN for the next debate.

  10. Right on all counts. Supreme Court did rule the case in question unconstitutional BUT commented strongly on the news for seasoned experienced street search on specific levels. The problem is how murky the line is between rights and laws.

      • If you think about it, the need is required. Let’s say you innocently are walking down a street. Several thugs make a noise. A cop should have a cursory right to stop and do a limited search for your protection. No one wants to see a cop shrug and tell the innocent to move on then turn away as if that life is less valuable than his restrictions on help.
