Wicked Commentary

At the Otay crossing near the San Diego border last Monday, about 200 people coming from Mexico gained entry to the United States all using the same key phrase; they claimed they had a ‘credible fear’ of drug cartels. According to KSAZ FoxPheonix:

So many were doing this that they had to close down the processing center and move the overflow by vans to another station.

“They are being told if they come across the border, when they come up to the border and they say certain words, they  will be allowed into the country,” said a person who did not want to be identified on camera.  “We are being overwhelmed.”

This apparent new shift in tactics to enter the United States comes at a time when the Associated Press is reporting a spike in the number of asylum requests in the past few years:

According draft testimony for USCIS Associate Director Joseph Langlois that was to be submitted for a congressional hearing on asylum requests last month, USCIS received more than 19,119 asylum requests through the end of May. The agency anticipates receiving more than 28,600 by the end of the fiscal year.

According to the testimony, during the 2009 budget year the agency received just 5,369 such requests.

However, this new phenomenon is out of all proportion, even with this spike. To put those numbers in perspective with the 200 people making asylum requests on one day at one border crossing, 200 people a day equals 73,000 people a year — close to three times the total number received all year, at all border crossings.

KSAZ reports the new tactic could easily overwhelm the immigration system, quoting immigration attorney and former immigration official Pete Nunez:

“To make our system even more ridiculous than it has been in the  past,” he adds. “There are no detention facilities for families, so the family would have to be split up. We don’t want to split families up, so we end up releasing people out into the community on bond, on bail.”
Nunez says, “It’s a huge loophole.”

“There has to be a policy change, something implemented, an emergency implementation that will stop this, or otherwise we will have thousands coming in.”

The goal, however, may be to overwhelm the system. This apparent new tactic comes on the heels of widely publicized activism by a group called ‘The Dream 9’ who also used a claim of asylum to gain re-entry to the country. As leftist organization Colorlines reported last week:

All nine of the activists have now established credible fear, a step toward an asylum hearing. Supporters are now hoping the Dream 9 will be eligible for parole, which would allow them to return to the United States until their asylum hearing dates.

This connection between the ‘Dream 9’ and the tactic of asylum was made by Spanish-language news source La Opiniòn. They report (translation by Google Translation) in an article entitled El asilo se volvió un sueño (in English: The asylum becomes a dream):

Following the release of nine Dreamers prisoners in Arizona, after a protest at the border, others have taken the path of asylum as a way to solve their deportation.

Media reports in San Diego are reporting that “hundreds of foreigners are trying to enter the country in the same way” and even that immigrants are being taught to use key phrases that they can stay in the country.

Reports tell of cases in the Port of Entry Otay Mesa, where 199 people have argued a ‘credible fear “to the drug cartels in Mexico.

And the validation of Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) of the status of “credible fear”, which allowed young people to stay at home and return to their families seems to have generated more of a headache for Immigration.

La Opiniòn goes on to quote Marshall Fitz, the immigration policy expert the liberal Center for American Progress, who points out that many would not qualify and it’s not a good ‘long term strategy’ for those attempting to cross the border.

*********************************************************************

Now isn’t this just great!  A new excuse to get in here.  And Fast and Furious suppled all the weapons to the drug cartels in Mexico.

According to some commenter’s:

“Great. Allow more third world illiterates in and turn us into the very place they’re running away from. Thanks, Obama, you Chicago prick.”

“The Mexican cartels are here, operating openly. Say NO to the Amnesty. Google this: NUMBERSUSA .Once you are registered (join us), go to the “action board” to send free faxes to your state representative. They are all typed up and ready to go,”

“Here is your form to apply for asylum…and to register as a Democrat.”

This is just nuts and when these Mexicans are all in this country willing to work for slave wages, more people are going to be thrown out of their jobs. The unemployment rate is already so bad more than 50 million people are on some kind of government assistance, including welfare, unemployment benefits, housing, food stamps. According to the CBO 1/3 of the country is unemployed right now.

Take that and what the Housing Dept plans to do.  And that is they decided they are going to check out diversity all over the country.  If your city or town does not have the kind of “diversity they think you should have” then they are going to relocate people to these areas.  So get ready everyone for the influx of Mexicans and Muslims into your neighborhoods. Knowing this administration they may even force people to give up their homes and relocate you to the inner city ghettos.  Now won’t that be wonderful?!

To be expected with the Feds coaching the wetbacks on how to survive the trek, and now no need for the cross country trek, just use the right phrase and Presto-Changeo they’re in.

I do believe you may be the fastest gun in the west. Isn’t this just great, this administration teaching these people in how to get into this country. Is there any hope for us anymore?

Very little hope is left when we have useless, washed up, patronizing, sissy boy, A-Hole compromisers like John Mc Can’t, Chambliss, and McConnell et al on our side.

  2. I don’t know what the hell is worse. Sneaking across, or lying to get in.

    • Clyde, both options suck don’t they? Hey, those exclusive elites on L Mich. may be getting a little nervous. Everything is “all good” until libs get some forced diversity.

      • Bull,

The elite crowd on Lake Michigan are going to be hot over this one, that is if it happens to them. They’re a liberal group up there so they should welcome diversity with open arms.
Wait until they see who will be breaking into their country clubs. That’ll give em a thought or two.

    • clyde,

I guess it’s all the same thing, breaking into our country. The only difference is our government has told them how to get in.

  3. Good article. Its another bomb on the USA. Sounds like they spread the word far and wide. The Dream 9 are going to me some kind of heroes.

Knowing this guy in 1600, that seems like a strategy he will encourage. There’s no downside for him. Force integration wherever they choose. And of course what will it do to redistricting? This is just the radical that would pull tactics like that.

    • Bull,

I guess we should be used to having bombs dropped on us. That’s all we’ve had since the King took over. The Dream 9, now if that isn’t a pile of horse manure.

Forced integration is on the move. God only knows what will happen next. All I know is this Fraud needs to get out and go to Mexico where he’s so comfortable.

  4. My first reaction to this piece of news was utter discus. Then I tried to imagine how bad it must be in Mexico or other countries where people are trying to escape. Sure the Mexican’s trying to enter our country may use the same phrase, because they don’t know our language. From this perspective, I am trying hard to show some compassion. It is only human nature to try and better yourself. This article also states “allow more third world illiterates in” They are already here (home grown), have you been through a fast food drive thru lately?
As we all know the problem is with ovomit and his doing every thing possible to get illegals to attempt to enter this country. He is doing his best to dumb down and bring down this country and make everybody dependent on the government. He wants to make all of us a third world country, so he can become the king of the new world order.

      Hey Walt,

Great comment and excellent Twain quote!!!

      Like

    • Walt I can certainly understand your compassion for those who are oppressed, but coming here isn’t going to change that one bit. We are being oppressed and too bad so many don’t see it. Plus these people are drying up tax money as we pay for their housing, food stamps and whatever else. It’s putting too much on half the people in this country who are working trying to support the other half.

You sure are right about the illiterates already here. The demon rats just want them here not out of compassion but for votes as they get the Hispanic votes all the time.

It is the fault of the King. He heads this up like you said. I think we are soon going to be a 3rd world country and that’s exactly his goal. Well, he’s doing a fine job.

Great post Pepp. Hell; why don’t the Mehicans just say their Bro Bama sent them an open invitation??? That’s what its f*cking come down to.

Living in the great Bluegrass state we don’t have to worry about diversity. Plenty of south of the border folks working the farms. And don’t get me started on living in Lexington. I’ve got every damn minority known to man migrating here, because most wouldn’t live long anywhere south or east of Lexington.

About time for Old Dave to get a trailer and head to eastern KY to live out my days. I get along great with mean ass rednecks! 😀

    • Dave,

Well that’s one thing I’ll give ya plenty of credit for, you would be right at home with those mean ass rednecks in the Appalachians. The locals tell me they are guys up there who have been hiding out since the Vietnam war, draft dodgers and they are still paranoid. I don’t think there are any statutes of limitations of draft dodgers.

Yep, their Mexican president el Barrito la Obamawama now has pulled another stunt to get them all in here.

I know you’ve got minorities in Lexington and I did find out there is a mosque down there btw.

There are a lot of Mexicans working the farms here but they don’t live here. They go back to Mexico in the fall. The ones Bob has tell him it’s too cold to stay here in the winter. We do not have diversity here where I live unless you want to count the Amish. But i don’t think that’s who the Housing Dept. wants sent into neighborhoods. We have a very small black community, but they are very nice people. Have not run into one hostile black here, but the Mexicans are very hostile. I feel afraid of them with the glares of hate they give us.

  6. Good article Pepp!

However, regarding the statement, “Mexicans in this country are willing to work for slave wages.” Is not quite accurate. It is Mexico that has the “slave wages.”

If I recall, the average wage in Mexico is 6 dollars a day.( $30.per week) If they collect our minimum wage of $7.25 an ‘hour’ that is a fortune to them. (290 per week.)
