According to K.T. McFarland, a friend of David Petraeus, and who worked for the Reagan administration, believes the General was set up to take a fall by the Obama regime. That they kept his affair as a card up their sleeve in case they needed it for something to make him resign.
K.T. states that the position of CIA director requires a full-scale FBI investigation of the candidate for the office. After that, the candidate has to pass a polygraph test. One of the questions for the polygraph is “Have you had an affair”. K.T states that knowing the General he has been an honorable man for all the years she has known him. She states he would have told the truth.
K.T McFarland was a guest on the Jeanine Pierro show on Fox News on Saturdays at 10 P.M.
All of the information of the investigation is then sent to the White House for the review of the information. In other words, the Obama regime would have known then about his affair, but chose to appoint him to the position of Director of the CIA anyway knowing he was compromised.
This begs the question then of why Obama appointed him knowing the General could be vulnerable to black mail, making his position untenable.
“Fox News analyst Ralph Peters on Friday called the timing of Gen. David Petraeus’ sudden resignation as CIA director “just too perfect for the Obama administration” and speculated that “tough Chicago guys” held onto knowledge of the affair until they needed to push the spy chief out.”
“Peters, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, said on Fox News that just as the administration initially called the assault on the Benghazi consulate on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks “purely coincidence,” it’s again “purely coincidence” for the affair to surface after the election but before Petraeus went to Capitol Hill for questioning about Benghazi. CIA Acting Director Michael Morell will now testify instead of Petraeus.
“As an old intelligence analyst, the way I read this — and I could be totally wrong, this is my interpretation — is that the administration was unhappy with Petraeus not playing ball 100 percent on their party line story,” Peters said. “I think he was getting cold feet about testifying under oath about their party line story, and I suspect that these tough Chicago guys knew of this affair for a while, held it in their back pocket until they needed to play the card.”
He added, “Right after the election and right before Petraeus is supposed to get grilled on Capitol Hill, it just really smells.”
Also appearing on Jeanine’s show was Colonel Hunt and two men who were former CIA agents. The Colonel and the CIA agents all agreed that Obama had to give the order to send in the rescue teams or stand down.
We also know that Admiral Ham in charge of the Africom fleet was fired after the Benghazi incident. He did not want to obey the order to “stand down”. He was forced to “resign” or to receive a court-martial is the speculation to keep the fairy tale from coming out. The Chicago thug Butcher of Benghazi most likely used a court-martial as black mail because they could not admit he was fired from his job for wanting to disobey the order to stand down.
This sudden resignation of General David Petraeus begs many questions. It came shortly after the election. Why did Petraeus say he was resigning due to an affair he had in Afghanistan while serving there? To me there seems to be no reason for making his affair public. This creates a humiliating situation for his wife and I do not believe he would have savored doing that.
Why did the White House hold back this information? Why did Obama appoint him anyway knowing of the affair?
According to other military analysts, most Generals would have to resign from their positions due to affairs. They cited Eisenhower who had an affair, General MacArthur, General Patton who had 3 affairs. Many presidents as we know have affairs and just recently with Bill Clinton. Clinton never left the White House due to Monica Lewinsky.
As K.T. McFarland, Ralph Peters, and many retired CIA officers do not believe having an affair was the reason for Petraeus sudden resignation.
His resignation so soon after the election is suspicious at the least. That begs the question “Why” did he really resign.
Even though the General stated that he will not testify before the House Committee this coming Wednesday, Trey Gouty, a former prosecutor from South Carolina, serving on the House committee stated to Jeanine last night that if he does not come in voluntarily to testify, under oath, the committee plans to subpoena him.
If General David Petraeus either comes in voluntarily to testify or has to be subpoenaed, the overall opinion is that he would then, under oath, tell exactly what he knew and when.
What if General Petraeus had gone to Obama and told him he could no longer lie about what really happened in Benghazi and repeat the story of a flash mob due to an obscure video?
The General is still denying that his resignation had anything to do with the Benghazi incident. Is that really true? What other reason would he resign? Was he forced out by the Obama regime and the excuse was due to the affair that they knew before he was appointed as the CIA Director. Could he not have used a different reason than adultery, (although true), it seems it would be one of the most humiliating reasons for his resignation.
He could have stated he was resigning his position due to personal family matters or wanting to spend more time with family and move on to other endeavors.
This could be very dangerous to the Obama regime. It also makes me wonder if he will still be alive before he testifies. According to K.T. McFarland, Petraeus would tell the truth.
