Wicked Commentary

I’m just as guilty as anyone as getting overwhelmed and caught up in today’s political and social landscape of our country. I guess it’s very understandable giving the current emergency situation we find ourselves. Sometimes I have to step back from all that and remember what the most important thing in my life is; my relationship with our God.

No matter how badly things get around us there is nothing God cannot get us through. HE loves us so much have gave us his son to die for our sins. HE loves us so much HE sent down the Holy Spirit to protect us after our Savior ascended to Heaven. “For God so loved the world, the he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we will have eternal life. Serve and worship the one true God and HE will bless us beyond our imagination. Know in your heart that the Holy Spirit walks with you to protect you. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Excerpt from Psalm 23. Know this entire passage, memorize this entire passage, and believe with all your heart in this entire passage and we shall be set free.

Life is hard from day to day, but no one was promised a bed of roses while living here on earth. Eternal rest and peace only exist within Heaven. The path we must follow while on earth is one that will please our Lord, so we shall be granted the great pleasure and ultimate reward of entering the gates of Heaven when we die. We are on earth but for a fraction of time, but death is eternal and there are only two different places we can go when we die; Heaven or hell. To me; that makes everything else seem pretty small in significance.

Doom and gloom are two words that seem to hang over our heads every day now. We see our great nation falling apart before our very eyes. Our society has become overrun with perverted ways of life style. It is very easy to fall into a hole and believe there will never be an end to this and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Perhaps that is true and it’s not fun to think about, but we constantly need to step back and rethink our priorities.

Serving God is our priority. Accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is our priority. Do not commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is our priority. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is the only unpardonable sin. When we blaspheme the Holy Spirit we are rejecting the Son and God’s wrath remains upon us.

Serve our Lord; accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and our lives will then be switching to glide, because we have put our lives in the hands of our Lord to guide us. Who better to guide our lives than our Lord?

This is my favorite gospel song and I’ve never heard a better rendition than this one by Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill. It feels my heart with warmth and gives me cold chills. Please listen and enjoy.  May God bless us all…

  1. DavetheRave,

I fear this country has turned its’ face against God too many times and He will not help us.
God is on a constant basis being run out of every institution imaginable. This is not what our Founding Fathers wanted.

Now, we have a Gangster Government administration who believes they have the authority to “take or give” us rights that God gave us, not them. It is evil and depraved that the Obama administration believes that they are God. I have to believe God does not like a false idol.

      Hey Pepp,

I personally believe those that have turned to a false idiot have greatly displeased God and while his love it tremendous his wrath is unimaginable. It is never a good idea to temp God. It is possible that God may no longer continue to bless our nation, because too many in our nation have turned their back on the ways of God. I don’t think however that our loving God will punish those in our country that have stayed true to Him.

Each of us are only one voice and cannot always direct our country the way we would like, but we can still conduct our personal lives to worship and serve God to the best of our ability. I believe God can see those in this nation that have turned their back on him and those that have stayed true to him. Our nation may end up being damned no longer getting the blessing and protection from our Lord, but I truly believe the faithful in this country will be judged kindly by our Lord. He has looked very kindly on those in the past that stayed true to him during the most difficult times.

I know things look very badly right now Pepp, but look up into Heaven, know God loves you and you may find many of your worries start pouring off your shoulders. Our Lord has very strong shoulders and will gladly carry them for you. God bless you!

Davetherave! Thanks for bringing us back to the purpose for our lives.

If we heed the admonitions of 2nd Chronicles 7:14, God will honor our efforts.

Hey Willi! Thanks so much for commenting my friend. I totally agree with your opinion. God will honor our individual efforts no matter what others are doing around us. Stay true to God and God will stay true to us. God bless you and your Mrs.

  4. “Did we believe that so potent and fearful a thing as sin [in the form of a POTUS, or the Left, or name your poison] had broken into the original holy order of the universe in defiance of God’s purpose, and is rioting in defiance of His power, we might well surrender ourselves to terror and despair. Unspeakably comforting and strengthening is the Scriptural assurance of our Standards (Westminster Confession V:4) that beneath all this wild tossing and lashing of evil purposes and agencies there lies, in mighty and controlling embrace, a Divine purpose that governs them all. Over sin as over all else, God reigns supreme. His sovereign Providence ‘extendeth to the first fall and all other sins of angels and men,’ so that these are as truly parts and developments of His Providence as are the movements of the stars or the activities of unfallen spirits in heaven itself. Having chosen, for reasons most wise and holy though unrevealed to us, to admit sin, He hath joined to this bare permission a ‘most wise and powerful bounding’ of all sin, so that it can never overleap the lines which He has prescribed for its imprisonment, and such an ‘ordering and governing’ of it, as will secure ‘His own holy ends,’ and manifest in the final consummation not only His ‘almighty Power,’ but His ‘unsearchable Wisdom’ and His ‘infinite Goodness.’”

      Hey Interface,

Thanks so much for your comment. Truly God reigns supreme over all and God gave man the right to sin or not sin. We are all with sin, because we are simply mankind. What sets many apart is they seek true forgiveness for our Savior and try each day to be a better servant of our Lord than the day before.

Great quote! And I just happen to be a Presbyterian, so I’ll not disagree with it. 🙂

      Hey buddy,

Thanks bull. I just try to keep my eye on the “biggest” picture, but I’ll be the first to admit that sometimes I take my eye off it and get caught up in stuff that I should not let distract me from being a good servant to our Lord.
