Wicked Commentary

Now it comes to light to be true that Romney’s biggest donor is Goldman Sachs who were bailed out with over $10 billion by the Federal Reserve or in other words money that the tax payer gets stuck with as our grand children will too.

Romney’s connections and dealings with the once shady Goldman Sachs is once again a question as to who Romney really is.  Obviously he likes bail outs. However during debates he states the opposite.  The man is a liar more than anyone may have guessed.

During the 2008 debates with McCain he stated he was pro choice until he saw a film about abortion and he changed to pro life.  According to him at the time this occurred not to long ago.  Now he tells us he has always been pro life.  So which is it Mr. Romney?  Which story is true or false?

Getting back to the Goldman Sachs situation, he and his wife made millions from that company.  Most of his donors are from Goldman Sachs.

Personal financial disclosures from May 2011 indicating he and his family invested millions in a Goldman Sachs fund that invested heavily in mortgage-backed debt obligations.

Romney benefited greatly from the funds  from the housing collapse.
To think that Romney is not going to practice corporate cronyism is stretching one’s belief and we will be right back where we are with Obama in my humble ruminations.

  1. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Romney has been “anointed” by the GOP
Establishment Elite to assume the Presidency, for reasons which I cannot begin to fathom,
given the purported platform, principles & tenets for which the Republican Party ostensibly
stands!! Which is why I identify myself as an “Evil” Constitutional Conservative, voting as
an Independent in the State of Ohio! This excellent article outlines some of the many
troubling issues that Romney & MaoBama have in common & that, for me, is more than
sufficient to convince me that I am correct in my commitment to cast my support behind
a candidate other than Mitt Romney!!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees Romney as the Republican Establishment Machine’s choice who have come out with the long knives on Newt Gingrich. They don’t want him at any cost and they are out to destroy Gingrich so Romney can win.

I will not vote for Romney. He’s a slick, money man, and has a lot of skeletons in his own closet they are trying to shut up. That’s why I wanted to put this article up to demonstrate what is going down here.

Michael Reagan, (Reagan’s conservative son) is completely behind Newt and is fired up, angry as hell about these vicious and untrue attacks on Newt. These are the republican establishment ones who don’t want their comfy little money boat rocked.

      • As always, you are spot on with your analysis!! I will not cast my vote for
Romney either, nor will any one else in our family–we prefer Santorum,
now that Cain is out of the race, but likely will cast for Newt in the end!
I personally relish the thought of Owebama having to debate Newt, as I
think there is no way in the world, short of a catastrophic weather event
or other unplanned disaster, that Owebama will emerge looking anything
like the “leader” he (& his delusional followers) believes himself to be!
America desperately needs strong Conservative leadership at this time,
in order to ensure the survival & continuing success of our (formerly)
        great nation!!

Our primary is so late, we usually have no choices when it comes around. If only Romney is on the ballot I will write in another candidate. I’m starting to like Santorum more each time I watch one of the debates. He is the only one so far who has said anything about the danger in our own backyard, Central and South America.
Also he said something at the end of the last debate about how we are losing our freedoms. And another thing Romney said he would have signed that NDDA which revoked our 5th and 6th amendment rights. Santorum said he would never have signed that dastardly piece of legislation.

          • Pepperhawk: So very true!! I just learned this morning, that
the Santorum family is going through an agonizing ordeal,
their youngest child, little 3 year old, Bella, suffering from a
very serious genetic disorder, similar to MS I believe, is now
in the hospital. Senator Santorum has returned to PA to be
with his family, but he says he is NOT leaving the race! Also,
Herman Cain & both the Palins are endorsing Newt, so if the
candidacy is still not decided by the time the campaign rolls
into OH, we will vote for either Santorum or Newt–in that order!
As you suggested, should Romney, or God forbid, Ron Paul,
be on that ballot–I will write in a name!! Any one of your (or
my) beloved pets would do far better, IMHO, than Romney!!

            Elizabeth, (PEP here)
I am so sorry to hear about Santorum’s child. How very sad. He may say he’s not leaving the race but without the money to go on if he does not take a 2nd place in Florida, I believe he’s going to have to drop out of the race. I was beginning to like a lot of things he said especially during the last debate.

I’m with you right now, Newt or Santorum, if either make it that far.
The repub machine is trying desperately to get Newt out of the race so we’ll see how that goes. The American people need to buck this like Palin states and keep the process going. That way we can know better what we’re getting.

Oh, you’ve got that right, my pets are worth more than these scumbag politicians any day.

    Pepp,

The same Goldman that supported Obama, and spawned greats like Jon Corzine, & Paulson. (and most of Jon-Jon’s administration/advisors came right from Sachs) The same ones up to their eyeballs in the housing crisis. Romney, ‘the alternate Obama’ (not alternative to) fits my view. Obama mentions “hedge funds” in his campaign spiel but never singles out Goldman, I wonder why? (Mitt is developing the same no-blame habit Barry has)

The plot looks more like the Acorn series every day.

    • Bull,

Don’t know if you watched the last debate, but Romney used the “no-blame thing.” When Newt brought up Mitts heavy investments with Fannie-May, he answered as though he knew nothing about it personally. That it was all handled through a “Blind Trust.” Yeah, Right! Like he didn’t know what was being done with millions of his dollars!

Yea, disgusting. Even David Gergen (CNN’s liberal operative) said he was blaming everyone but himself and taking no responsibility. Now if they could only see and say that about their comrade-in-chief. And his eyerolling at Santorum over RomneyCare was another new low. We have a guy squatting in the Oval Office now who cannot take criticism. But Mitt’s been running for 4 years and this is the best he can do?

You are dead on. This thing is looking like the Acorns and it’s scary. Romney is nothing more than a slick liar. He’s all tied up with this Goldman Sachs making tons of money and I think that’s why he didn’t want his tax return out. I figured there had to be something he was hiding. And Dave said he read where Romney paid only 13.5 % on his taxes. Wow, and he offering a top tax of 35% while the others are offering tax reform and much lower tax rates. Why would anyone vote for Romney when he doesn’t even want to reform or change the tax code or get rid of the IRS?

Right, the Republican establishment. Bad enough we are running against liberal Marxists hell-bent on destroying the country, but we are also running against the establishment too. And funny how they are the same establishment Repubs lecturing the right about unifying…as long as they’re in the drivers seat.

Right you are. The American people are getting screwed all over the place. If it isn’t bad enough like you said, we now have this out of the Republican Establishment Machine. I’m going to have to start calling them the REM. REM, what a farce they are. Neither party of the elites want the American people in control as it should be. They want to keep their lousy crooked machine going.

    Pepp,

I just realized, you know how Romney was nailing Gingrich for going to each state promoting projects they could do. Well, with the funds rolling into Mitt’s coffers from Sachs and Wall Street, what is he telling/promising them? Guaranteed they want a return on their investment! BTW: Mitt’s obviously another hypocrite too.

Romney is a slim ball, slim ball, slim ball! After I saw you’d posted a second article on Romney; I decided just to move my puke bucket over beside my computer. If elected; he will be the most corrupt president in our history. He lies outta both sides of his mouth. You know he will be more than willing to pay back the favor to Goldman Sachs, if he sits on the thrown. Romney reminds my of KY weather; it changes everyday! Will this vicious cycle of corruption ever end? Not while the vicious control the cycle…

LMAO! You already have your barf bucket ready I see. I think I’m going to need one in my room also. The more I find out the sicker I’m getting. Did you watch that video with Pam Bondi? What a shocker that is! He wants to put Romney-care in every state. Can you believe this? Just what we don’t need. His failure Romney-care where the health premiums are the highest in the country since he installed that plan. Oh it just keeps getting worse. Now he wants every state to mandate healthcare or pay a fine like in Mass? When questioned on it he is unapologetic about it too, like it’s A-OK to do this.

Bondi opened her mouth way before Romneylie would have liked her to I’d bet! I’m so glad she did, because that should give Floridians another reason to believe that Romneylie is just plain stupid…

        • Dave,

Actually I was in complete shock hearing this come out of Pam Bondi’s mouth.
She is fighting, along with 25 other states against Obamacare so why does she want to force states to have Romneycare? It makes no sense to me whatsoever.
But she sure did make a big boo boo IMHO.

I’m beginning to think Ann Coulter is just a good scam artist. She wrote all those books about liberals and the dumb things they say and now she’s spouting off liberal crapola. So perhaps she did what she did with all those books and speeches just for money. She’s independently wealthy now so she no longer has to concern herself on how many people turn their backs on her.
